Ballet and Pointe

Students are placed in developmentally correct classes, starting from age four through adults. Dance Nyaad strongly suggests ballet for all dancers; our methods insure proper alignment, technique and artistic training to enhance all other forms of dance as well as to prepare young performers for a professional career onstage.  Pointe students are individually assessed for pointe readiness. All Pointe classes are carefully structured for beginning students through advanced dancers with a strong emphasis on classical variations and contemporary choreography. Please inquire for a placement for your student!

Technique of Isadora Duncan

Dance Nyaad teaches the fundamentals of Isadora Duncan’s (1877-1927) philosophy and technique. These are wonderful classes for students to begin their exploration of early modern dance in the most organic and nurturing way possible. Classes begin at age three and continue into our repertoire company for older students.
